History[]
Tinker Bell was a fairy flying around in Kensington Gardens where she met a baby Peter Pan, who had run away from home after he heard that he was to grow up and be a man someday. They became attached to each other, and at some point ended up in Neverland where they had many adventures together.
She accompanied Peter on his visits to the Darling home, where they would listen from outside unseen to Wendy Darling's stories. On one such visit they were nearly caught, as the Darlings' nurse dog Nana noticed Tinker Bell, but they quickly escaped before they were detected.
On the next visit though, Nana caught Peter's shadow, so the next night he and Tinker Bell returned when the children were sleeping to retrieve it. Tink found it in a drawer, but got trapped in it herself in the struggle between Peter and his shadow. From there, much to her irritation, she had to watch an awakened Wendy help Peter attach his shadow back on. When Wendy was about to give Peter a kiss, Tinkerbell became so enraged she burst open the drawer and began attacking her until Peter intervened. When Wendy's brothers John and Michael woke up, Peter used Tinkerbell's fairy dust on them all to make them fly.
Personality[]
True to the book, she is mischievous and a bit childish in her ways. She is very expressive and communicates with others via energetic gestures, facial expressions and fairy noises. Her relationship with Peter Pan is such that she becomes easily jealous of anyone having his attention to the point of killing someone. But she is also loyal and brave, as seen when she sacrificed herself to save Peter.
Physical appearance[]
She has messy dirty blonde hair and, being a fairy, fits easily in the hand of a large child. Like other fairies, she glows and sparkles from being covered in fairy dust. She wears a short dress made from leaves.
